He graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. Between 2002 and 2008, he completed his specialization in Yeşilyurt Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, Department of Neurology. He is an active member of the Turkish Neurological Association.
Married and mother of 2 children, Dr. Dr. Name Derya Gökçek is fluent in English.
