Since the transplanted hair will continue growing in the new area, FUE is recommended for patients who have small balding areas while FUT is generally recommended for patients who have large balding areas.
FUE is a method that is recommended and used for patients who have small balding areas. As the name itself suggests, it includes extracting individual follicular units from the donor area. They’re collected one by one, mostly from the nape.
During the extraction/collecting, the punch tool leaves so few scars that can be considered almost invisible. The procedure requires local anesthesia and lasts between 3-4 hours, depending on the situation. The recovery days depend on the methods used during the procedure. Long-term results show themselves in 10-12 months.
Comfort FUE is a technique that is used in FUE treatment to provide the utmost comfort for the patient during the treatment. A specialized punch tool is used for a procedure different than the traditional one to reduce pain.
When compared to the traditional FUE method, Comfort FUE helps patients to feel less pain and discomfort along with faster recovery. However, it may cost higher than the traditional method; and may not be eligible for all patients.
Hair transplant, mustache, and beard transplant are procedures that include transplanting hair follicles from the scalp or donor area to improve the mustache and beard. The method can be decided by the patient’s situation, but FUE or FUT methods are common ones that are used for this treatment.

Unshaven hair transplant is a procedure that includes transplanting hair follicles from the decided donor areas without shaving the hair. In traditional methods, the decided donor area is shaved so that extraction would be easier.
However, in some cases, patients are not eligible for traditional shaving methods because of some factors such as baldness, having less hair, etc. Therefore, unshaven hair transplants would be more suitable for them. Your surgeon will discuss the eligibility criteria with you to decide the best method.
Eyebrow transplant is a procedure that includes transplanting hair follicles from the decided areas mostly around the scalp to make eyebrows thicker and adjust their shape of them. The FUE method can be applied during transplantation to have a more precise extraction of the hair follicles.
By using small incisions, these small hair follicles are transplanted into the eyebrows. Every hair follicle should be chosen carefully so that they adjust the growth and thickness of the eyebrows. To fill the gaps between eyebrows or hide the scars, an eyebrow transplant would be a good choice compared to the other traditional methods.
