Operatiedokter Cenk Melikoğlu werd geboren in Görele, in 1978. In 2002 studeerde hij af aan de Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. Tussen 2003 en 2010 deed hij zijn specialisatie in Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Clinic. Hij studeerde in 2008 af aan de Faculteit der Geneeskunde van de Eskişehir Osmangazi Universiteit. Hij studeerde van 2007 tot 2008 aan de medische faculteit van Kaunas. Tussen 2009 en 2014 voltooide hij zijn specialisatie in de afdeling Plastische, Reconstructieve en Esthetische Chirurgie aan de Afyon Kocatepe Universiteit. 5 originele artikelen gepubliceerd in nationale en internationale wetenschappelijke tijdschriften, en 13 mondelinge en schriftelijke academische artikels gepresenteerd op nationale congressen. The newly produced implants last for a lifetime. You will have no need to change them in the upcoming years. We are only using worldwide known, imported and approved implants such as MENTOR, Motiva or Polytech. You will also be given the guarantee cards and certificates. High profile or low profile type of implants can be used depending on the patient. Patient can choose between round type or teardrop type of silicones however the surgeons mostly recommend the round type due to its stability and more satisfying results.

Dual plane, sub muscular, sub fascial and sub glanduller placement methods can be used depending on the breast tissue of the patient. A small incision is performed under the breast and the implant is put through this incision. The scar will not be visible from outside since it is under the breast and silicon based gels will be used in order to help the scars fade out.

You will be given a medical BRA and need to carry it for approximately 4-6 weeks long. This will also help you with the healing process. The surgery and implants doesn’t harm the mammary ducts so you can get pregnant and there is no harm for breastfeeding.

This is often one of the most difficult decisions, and for many reasons, has the most potential for disappointment. During your consultation, your plastic surgeon will work with you to identify what size of breast you desire from augmentation. "Breast size" as measured by bra-size is variable and is often not a good way to measure final size. As a general rule, every 125-150cc of implant volume equals an increase in a single cup size. However, every patient's body is different. By working with your surgeon and their clinical team, you can set obtainable and healthy expectations together. It is helpful for you to bring in a bra the size you would like to be to help in finding the right sized implant for you.

This depends on your job and its physical demands. Some general guidelines are: Upper arm movements, like reaching, should be avoided for the first 1-2 weeks. Lifting anything heavier than 5 kgs should be avoided for 6 weeks after the operation. This lifting restriction may prevent some women from returning to work.

Women may start driving a car one week after surgery as long as they are not taking any pain medications.
