Chemical peeling is the process of revealing the underlying skin by peeling off the top skin with a chemical drug that contains fruit acids and salicylic acid. Chemical peeling, which is divided into 3 types as superficial, moderately deep, and deep, is applied to eliminate facial wrinkles, skin blemishes, acne and acne scars, black spots and colour imbalances. After the application, the skin becomes healthier, shinier, and smoother.
Application
The chemical drug is applied on clean skin and then cleansed after some time. After completion of the procedure, protective creams are applied on the area by massaging. Chemical peeling is applied in a single session and can be repeated after a period of time.

Before and After
The skin must be cleaned before the procedure and it should be protected from sunlight by using high-factor creams and should be moisturized carefully for 1 week.
He graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. In 2002, he completed his specialization in İzmir 9 Eylül University, Department of Dermatology. He is a member of Turkey Society of Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology Association, Dermatooncolgy Association, Turkey Dermatovenerology Association. He gave verbal presentations in international and national meetings and has publications in Turkish and foreign journals.

He received his Medical Education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine between 1992-1998. Between 1999 and 2002, he worked as a specialist in Dokuz Eylul University, Department of Dermatology.
He is a member of the Turkish Dermatovenerology Association. He has oral presentations at international and national meetings as well as publications in Turkish and foreign journals.
Married and father of 2 children, Dr. Dr. Şenel Yurtsever has a good command of English.
