Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Karaköse

Assoc. Dr. Ayhan Karaköse was graduated from Uludağ University, Faculty of Medicine in 2004. He completed his residency in 2010 and assumed the title of specialist in the field of urology and became a Consultant Urologist. Then, he assumed the title of assistant professor in 2012 and then, the title of associate professor in 2015. He attended the Gülhane Military Medical Academy, Laparoscopy Course and Gazi University, Faculty of Medicine, Laparoscopy Course in 2008. He received laparoscopy and robotic surgery training for 3 months that had been held in Dr. Sadi Konuk Bakırköy Training and Research Hospital, Urology Clinic in 2010. Then, he received Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) training in German Augusta Victoria Hospital.

Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Phase 3 Study treating and researching JNJ-56021927 for the patients diagnosed with High-Risk Localized or Locally Advanced Prostate Cancer that receive Primary Radiation Therapy (ATLAS Protocol: 56021927PCR3003),
Phase III, Multicenter, and Randomized, Placebo Controlled Study treating and researching Anti-PD-L1 antibody atezolizumab in combination with Platinum-Based Chemotherapy or Monotherapy for the patients diagnosed with untreated locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma. WO30070 He takes place as a researcher in Phase III, Randomized, Controlled studies treating and researching separately and singly Pembrolizumab or together with Chemotherapy compared to Chemotherapy in advanced stage of urothelial carcinoma.
The research fields include Endourology, Uro-oncology, Female Urology and Pediatric Urology. He has written 26 articles published in international peer-reviewed journals, 31 articles published in national journals, 42 oral and poster presentations presented in national congresses, 24 oral and poster presentations presented in international congresses, and 2 book chapters. He speaks English very well. He is married and has two children.
